Armor Dog

Be your own vault. Self-custody for keys, identities and passwords, on hardware built to outlast you.

The Armor Dog website: self-custody for everyone, from Nostr to Bitcoin

An air-gapped hardware device, a USB-C key and a mobile app. One set of tools for bitcoin keys, Nostr identities, master passwords and offline authentication.

Self-custody fails most people at the same point: it asks them to choose between safe and usable. Armor Dog is an attempt to refuse that choice.

The device is stainless steel, air-gapped, tamper resistant and driven by mechanical buttons. It holds bitcoin keys offline, signs for Nostr identities, protects the recovery keys behind a password manager and generates one-time codes without a network.

Armor Dog is open source, and it is in development.
